How to protect your graded cards (and why it matters)

You've sent your card off, waited weeks, and it's come back with the grade you were chasing. That little slab is now both a keepsake and an investment — so it's worth protecting properly.

The three big risks

UV light fades inks and can yellow slabs over time. Impacts and scratches happen in bags, drawers and at shows. And transport is where most damage occurs — loose slabs knocking around are asking for trouble.

How we protect the hobby

Our Grail Jail cases are built for exactly this. The Magsimum Security magnetic case wraps a single graded card in aircraft-grade aluminium and glass with 95% UV protection. For larger collections and show days, the multi-row Cell Block and Big House cases keep your slabs secure and organised in transit.

Three quick tips

  • Store slabs out of direct sunlight.
  • Use a hard case any time a card leaves the house.
  • Inspect new pickups with a magnifier before you commit to grading.

Look after the cardboard, and it'll look after you.
